Project Description

Project Description:

The $136M design-build DeWitt Nelson Correctional Annex (DNCA) Project was completed on schedule, on budget (with CCOs), with a perfect safety record and no claims.  The scope of the project included site infrastructure systems, housing for outpatient inmates, general population inmates, and permanent worker crew inmates and required the team to interface with three adjacent projects delivered simultaneously.  The Executive team met quarterly and the Core team met periodically to ensure that project goals were successfully monitored and achieved.  The team overcame challenges related to Fire Marshall Review, an aggressive schedule (which started 6-months late) and the addition of a $12M electrified fence through a contract change order, which was all brought in on time.  This team received a 2015 Ruby Level IPI Partnered Project of the Year Award.
