If you regularly work on City and County of San Francisco projects, or support International Partnering Institute, please make sure to save the date for some key upcoming events.
October 30, 2025
1. San Francisco Collaborative Partnering Award Applications are due! Visit www.sfpartnering.com to download the Application and the Tip Sheet for guidance on how to maximize your points!
Criteria:
- Your project must be with one of the City and County of San Francisco Departments.
- The project must reach Substantial Completion, Beneficial Occupancy, or Final Completion between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025.
- The team must complete at least two partnering sessions.

2. Collaborative Scheduling Training Part 2!
The San Francisco Collaborative Partnering Steering Committee (SFCPSC) and the Lean Construction Institute (LCI) are providing a jointly sponsored Training #2 focused on Last Planner System and the implementation of Pull Planning and Scrum best practices. City construction professionals (Construction Managers, Project Managers, REs, Inspectors, Architects, and Engineers) are invited to participate to enjoy hands on experience related to project scheduling.
Be aware that space is limited and the training is intended for City employees. Please contact sfpartnering@gmail.com to request a spot.

3. San Francisco Collaborative Partnering Fundamentals Training
The Port of San Francisco is hosting our fourth and final Partnering Fundamentals Training on Thursday November 6th from 9am – noon. We have a few spaces left for contractors, consultants, or A&E professionals to sign up.

4. Owner’s Capital Program Update
The International Partnering Institute and the California Infrastructure Delivery Coalition are jointly hosting our first in-person Owner’s Capital Program Update! This can’t miss event will be held in Southern California and will be a can’t miss event! Register HERE.
Planned Panelists include:
- Annalisa Murphy – Deputy Executive Officer and Project Manager for the GLine BRT Improvements Project, LA Metro’s first Progressive Design-Build project
- Nell Mardirosian – Deputy Executive Officer and Deputy PM for the East San Fernando Valley Light Rail Project, another Progressive Design-Build initiative
- Michelle McFadden Quinn – Executive Officer, Projects Engineering Program Management, LA Metro
And the session will be moderated by:
- Anna Hermelin – Co-head of Projects, Americas, and Office Managing Partner for Ashurst, Metro’s retained outside counsel for multiple alternative delivery projectd
