Awarded to….Walter P Moore for the SFO ATCT

Walter P Moore, the tower structural designer, was honored with the Grand Conceptor Award by ACEC for Excellence in Engineering for their work on the SFO Air Traffic Control Tower in an awards ceremony in Washington DC. This is the top award in the national program, the first time Walter P Moore has garnered this award in their 85 year history. Congratulations to the entire design and construction team for its vision and collaborative partnership especially with Walter P Moore in delivering a first of its kind, innovative tower structure.
