Tonya  has worked for OrgMetrics since July of 2012. She loves the immediate gratification that comes from the virtual partnering process and working with groups to help them identify their shared goals and commitments, so they have a successful project.

What do you do when you are not at work?

Mommymobile and Assistant Executive Director for the Center for Community Dispute Settlement.

Who or what inspires you?

My kiddo is the reason I get up every morning and he inspires me to be a better person.

What gives you the most satisfaction in your work?

Knowing that I’m helping someone.

What is your most prized possession?

Photos of my great-grandparents when they were young and hanging out.

Minimalist or Collector? Which suits you best?

I'd love to be a minimalist, but I'm a collector. I collected Donald Ducks and Santas... and books.

What is the favorite project you have worked on and why?

I-580 Truck Lanes because it affects my daily life.

Go-tos

School

I’m in a graduate program to get my Masters in School Counseling and MFT.

Mediation

I am the Assistant Executive Director for the Center for Community Dispute Settlement (CCDS). This is a family-run non-profit mediation program that provides Mediators for neighborhood and day-of-court small claims and civil harassment court rooms in Alameda County. We also provide mediation training to adults and youth as well as restorative justice peer-to-peer. My parents started the company in 1995. They have “retired” from the business in 2020 and I am carrying it on.

PFLAG

I am a Director-at-Large for PFLAG Tri-Valley and have helped develop education for school administrators, teachers, and districts on how to provide a safe, accepting environment for LGBTQ+ youth.

Family

I am a wife and mother to one amazing kiddo.
