Measuring Results
How would you like to predict the level of success (or failure) of your projects? Well, it seems that it is closer than you might think. Studies show that by using a monthly partnering scorecard, you will have improved insight on what is happening on your project, enabling your team to make course corrections before issues negatively impact the schedule, budget, and the ongoing effectiveness of the team.
This process is key to identifying and resolving any barriers or disputes as they arise. Each OrgMetrics Construction Scorecard™ is programmed to your project’s partnering goals and commitments. It is a web-based program, and each project team member fills out an online survey tailored to the unique goals, objectives, and commitments made at each partnering session. The results are anonymously compiled into a scorecard report and distributed to the project team members. Your OrgMetrics facilitator reviews the scorecard results and provides a summary with recommendations on how to move the project team forward.
In an effort to reveal a team’s progress and level of alignment, OrgMetrics developed an algorithm that takes all of the team’s Construction Scorecard™ scores and calculates a Project Momentum Score™. This is an easy way to predict a project’s success as it shows positive or negative momentum throughout the duration of the project based on the collective wisdom of the team.
For Large programs, OrgMetrics developed the Construction Scorecard™ Dashboard to view all the projects in a construction program so resources can be deployed where they are most needed. The Construction Scorecard™ Dashboard also uses the Project Momentum Score™ and allows an “at-a-glance” view into the performance of each project within an entire program.
